Company profile in the Luzerner Zeitung

On Saturday, May 17, 2025, a company profile about us was published in the Luzerner Zeitung.

Founded in 1945, Iseli & Co. AG from Schötz, Switzerland, has grown from a regional toolmaker to a globally recognized specialist in machinery for the processing of band, gang, and circular saw blades. Now in its third generation of family leadership under Philipp and Christian Iseli, the company combines tradition with innovation and precision engineering. Iseli’s machines, known for their automated processes and custom-developed sensors, are used worldwide in the woodworking and metal industries. Each year, around 140 units are manufactured, with 95% exported globally. To better serve international markets, a second site was established in Hungary for the final assembly of simpler machine types.

The company’s strength lies not only in technical innovation but also in its strong commitment to employee development and long-term retention. Investments in automation, such as fully integrated sharpening systems, ensure Iseli remains at the forefront of its niche market.

Despite challenges like the strong Swiss franc, Iseli & Co. AG continues to grow with resilience and forward thinking. In May, the team will exhibit at the Ligna trade fair in Hannover. The 80-year milestone will be celebrated with a company outing to the Swiss Alps this September.
