As part of a comprehensive modernisation, several highly automated Iseli machines have been installed – with the clear goal of taking efficiency, precision and process reliability to a new level.
Investing in Innovation
Since the acquisition by James Jones & Sons, over £2 million has been invested in infrastructure, machinery and production processes. At the heart of this development is a state-of-the-art bandsaw production line featuring automated sharpening and processing systems from Iseli.

- BNR 100 – Automatic straightening, tensioning and levelling machine
This combination enables fully automated bandsaw processing at the highest quality level.
Technology in Live Action
As part of a two-day Open Day, Lancashire Saw presented the new equipment in live operation. Industry representatives from the sawing sector took the opportunity to see the machines in action and exchange views on the technical possibilities.
The demonstrations impressively showcased:
- High repeatability
- Efficient process workflows
- Reduced non-productive times
- Consistently reproducible grinding results
People Make the Difference
Alongside the technological modernisation, Lancashire Saw deliberately draws on the strength of its team. With a combined total of 414 years of experience, the approximately 30 employees bring an enormous depth of expertise to their daily work – a combination of tradition and high technology.
A Partnership on Equal Terms
